Salute to Homeschoolers Day,

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Orlando, FL

Homeschooler Day participants have a full day of special activities for education and fun.

The participants will meet an astronaut at a special Astronaut Briefing, build and launch air rockets at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, see an IMAX movie, take the bus tour of restricted areas and experience our other shows and exhibits such as Mad Mission to Mars.

Students will receive a special patch to commemorate their action-packed day.

Admission price is $24.50, and includes lunch!

Parents will also have an opportunity to visit our Educator Resource Center, where they will receive educational resources to enhance student's Science, Space Travel, History and Match curriculum. Copy NASA videotapes, reproduce software and historic press releases, review lesson plans and other teaching materials.

Open Monday-Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Preschool music classes

For 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds beginning January, 2002. Bible songs, praise choruses, novelty songs, folk tunes used to teach music concepts through movement, singing, games and keyboard activities. 6-week sessions.  Instructor with B.M.E., 35 years teaching experience and service as church organist/pianist/musician. Location Lakeside Baptist Church, 2929 Metairie Ct., Metaire, LA Also, introduction to piano for 5- and 6-years- olds. For additional information, call Donna Settoon.

Adopt a Grandparent

Last call for Adopt-A-Grandparent.
Each child will be matched with an older person to visit,  read, play games, etc. The matched pairs will do activities on their own schedules.
