Hello, my name is Chef Angelina Raimondo, and I am the owner of Angie's Restaurant, located at 124 Longview Drive, Destrehan, La. 70047. I have been in business for three years, originally starting as a Coffee & Beignet Cafe, but later I decided to pursue my real passion, cooking Italian Cuisine.

My menu is a cross section of dishes designed to entice any pallet with food that is freshly prepared everyday, using the finest ingredients. Angie's Restaurant offers the following:

As you can see my menu consists of a wide spectrum of foods designed to meet the needs of all my patrons from hardy pasta dishes to light summer salads.

One of my favorite luncheon salads is an easy Garden Salad made with Romaine Lettuce which could be complimented by my other favorite Boiled Chicken Salad.  I would like to share these two recipes with you.

Chicken Salad and Garden Salad have both sliced ingredients, mixed with celery, and onions.  Place the chicken mixture on a bed of Romaine Lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, red onions, and bell peppers.  Topped with cheddar cheese and honey mustard dressing. This can be served as a light lunch or an appetizer.

I also carry an assortment of desserts and pastries that is sure to please any sweet tooth from Chocolate Cheese Cake to fat/sugar free desserts such as "NO Guilt Strawberry Trifle" or the "French Silk Pie".

I like to think that Angie's Restaurant is a friendly, cozy, family environment serving excellent Italian food at reasonable prices.
