Bass fishing

When the weather gets hot in the summer months the large mouth bass develops a Summer pattern. Early in the predawn to before the sun makes it's first peak over the trees, top water is a great and fun way to catch fish. The spit'in image, chug bug or a buzz bait are a few of the many top water baits that produce fish.

After the sun rises, top water action slows down. Turn to a plastic worm, a french fry or "Nate-a-peed", which is a great worm that produces fish all year round(fish it slow and have patience).

Late evening fishing is very similar to early morning fishing, go to your top water and Hold ON!!

Information:

Swamp areas in our region are rich in wildlife. The swamp and marsh are habitat for many birds, fur animals, reptiles and deer and supports a very large concentration of waterfowl in the winter.

Contact our local sporting goods stores for information about boat launches and parking areas for boating and fishing.
