Adults
These are some of the ministries that we offer at West St. Charles at
varying times. Ministries change with the varying needs of the church members.
Choir - Adult choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings beginning at 8pm.
They usually perform a Christmas and Easter musical.
Discipleship Training - These classes are held in the church, and occasionally in
members’ homes, to help you grow as a Christian. Some of the previous classes held
have included: Growing Kids God’s Way and Experiencing God. Classes generally are for
a specific term.
Instrumental and Vocal Praise Team
Perfect Heart Ladies Ensemble - A ladie's vocal ensemble ministering
through music.
Men's Ensemble - A men's vocal ensemble ministering through music.
Men’s Outreach Ministry - This ministry is designed to reach men
through outreach activities, special training programs and Promise Keeper events.
Nursing Home Ministry Team - Team members minister in the local nursing
home for Bible study and worship.
Parents of Teens - This ministry is for couples with teenagers that meet
as small groups for time of study, sharing, support and prayer.
Precept Bible Study - Precept is a ministry which provides Bible studies
taught by Kay Arthur or Wayne Barber on video. Contact the church office to see if a
Precept course is being offered this semester.
Senior Adult - This ministry is designed to provide activities, meals,
and trips that are attractive and minister to the specific needs of senior adults. This
might include such things as special lunches, going to see Christmas lights etc.
Vocal worship ensemble - A vocal group that participates in the worship
services
WOM (WMU) - Women on Mission, part of the
Women's Missionary Union. This group has ongoing projects to minister to the needy of our
area with particular emphasis on prayer for the missionaries, here and abroad.
Women’s Outreach Ministry - This ministry is designed to reach women
through outreach activities, special training programs and occasional banquets with themes
of special interest to women.
