About WSCBC

Our church is a ministry led church. Ministry teams bring recommendations to the church body for direction as to how to better serve our community. We do not have a governing board. Our deacons, with the pastors, serve the congregation and community.

For more specific information regarding activities and schedules, feel free to browse our website using the provided links.

Child Care services are available during all Sunday services and usually for church related activities.

We have a personal hearing system for the hearing impaired to use during worship service.

How to become a member

1. By profession of faith in Jesus Christ and promise of baptism
Publicly stating your faith in Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior is the first step in becoming a member. This is followed by baptism, an act not necessary for salvation, but a visible symbol of what Christ has done in a person's heart.

2. By transfer of letter (membership) from another Baptist Church.

3. By statement of your faith in Jesus and scriptural baptism in a church of like faith.

New Christian?

If you are a new Christian or new to your area, we’d like to offer a few suggestions for helping you to find a church home.

• Make a list of about 4 churches.
• Visit a morning and evening service of each church, visiting one each week.
• Then, attend a particular church at least two successive Sundays before making a decision.

    We would love to have you visit our church if you live in our area. However, the most important thing is for you to find the church home that GOD wants you to be in because that is where you will feel “at home” and discover how you can best fulfill His purpose. God’s blessings on you in your search.
